Our workshops focus on minimizing screen time, creating healthy habits, and enhancing performance. Sumeyra Ozturk, Ph.D.

Sumeyra is a licensed speech therapist with a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology. With extensive clinical and training experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her workshops. Sumeyra has been working in public schools, including SFUSD, leading groups focused on enhancing various skills in children and teens. She taught Psychology courses to undergraduate students at Georgia State University and SFSU. She also leads workshops in Marin to Parents with disabled children.

In addition to her practical experience, she has conducted extensive research on communication skills. As an accomplished author and presenter at academic conferences, Sumeyra covers topics such as parent-child communication. She is an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Through her workshops, Sumeyra strives to create a warm and supportive environment where every child feels valued and empowered. She believes that every child can unlock their full potential and succeed in their personal and academic journeys with the right tools and guidance.
