Sewing – A Comfy Pouf

Create a handmade pouf that’s more than just a soft seat—it’s a cozy expression of comfort, creativity, and personal pride. With your newly acquired sewing skills, you’ll craft a welcoming companion perfect for curling up with a book, resting tired feet, or starring in imaginative play.

Along the way, you’ll learn essential techniques like threading a needle, making basic stitches, sewing straight seams, and safely using a sewing machine. By day’s end, you won’t just take home a pouf—you’ll bring home your delightful new roommate.

Fee: $155 includes all material

Hours: 9 am – 4 pm / Extended care available from 4-5:30 pm at $ 35

Taylor’s love for dressing up and sewing costumes began in childhood when she crafted imaginative outfits with her grandmother. By middle school, she was designing and creating clothes that existed in her imagination but not in stores. Her passion for sewing and creativity eventually led her to major in design and print in college. Taylor has since become an accomplished apparel and print designer, having worked with Burt’s Bees Baby, FabKids, and other renowned fashion houses.

Taylor holds a B.A. in Fashion and Apparel Design from Texas Woman’s University.
